The Serenity House has been helping recovering addicts and alcoholics find a new way of life for nearly five years. In the summer of 2006, the founders of The Serenity House saw a need for a safe place people could go after leaving treatment for addiction and/or alcoholism. The house, conveniently located in downtown Rochester, PA, opened its doors in 2006 and has been integral in helping its residents rebuild shattered lives, one day at a time, since then. In the nearly five years since The Serenity House was opened, over two hundred recovering addicts and alcoholics have called The Serenity House home. Over fifty of those residents achieved one year or more of continuous sobriety.
What sets The Serenity House apart from other facilities is that our staff is comprised of two recovering addicts. The owner, however, is not in recovery and does not make any decisions regarding the day-to-day operation of the facility. This allows our staff to make all decisions with the residents’ safety and recovery in mind. The Serenity House also boasts the most experienced recovery house staff in Beaver County.
